Mo element usage in 316L stainless steel:
316L stainless steel to add Mo, so its corrosion resistance, atmospheric corrosion resistance and high temperature strength is particularly good, can be used in harsh conditions; high temperature strength excellent .316L stainless steel is austenitic stainless steel, can not be enhanced by heat treatment. Has good strength, plasticity, toughness and cold formability and good low temperature performance. As the Cr18Ni8 based on the addition of 2% Mo, given the steel good resistance to reducing media and resistance to pitting corrosion resistance. In a variety of organic acids, inorganic acids, alkalis, salts, seawater are in the appropriate corrosion resistance. In the reducing acid medium its corrosion resistance is much better than 304 and 304L
